I wore this album out in my youth! It is a fine mixture of rock/pop/glam/pro. All the basic hits are here from "Changes" to "Space Oddity" to "Golden Years". I would not consider this to be a set of the Best of Proggy/Glam Bowie, but it certainly covers a lot of ground. The only drawback here (besides the missing prog-type numbers) is that mzny of these tunes have been played so much on the radio and television that they have lost their freshness. A good, basic introduction to the commercial work of David Bowie. Those seeking his more adventerous side should look elsewhere. As with a lot of Greatest Hits packages, there is much missing. But enough is here to warrant 3 stars out of 5.
