3 stars I believe I was one of about 60 billion people who owned this album in the 70's. This is a decent tour of Chicago's music up until the point of 1975- although this IS a hits album and doesn't cover any of their more progressive or jazzy material from early in the band's career. Hits like "25 or 6 to 4", "Color My World", "Saturday in the Park", and "Make me Smile" are here. Not to be found, however, are any of their early longer arrangements which would truely be the BEST of Chicago. For an intoduction to the pop aspects of Chicago, this is fine. Those seeking more should stick to the original albums-maybe the first 3 or so would be good to start with. 3 stars. Lots of pop, little jazz or fusion or prog.
