REPEAT - THE BEST OF JETHRO TULL - VOL. II

I would not call this anywhere near essential Jethro Tull. For one thing, there are the same problems with creating edits of longer tunes that was found on the first MU greatest hits album. "Minstrel in the Gallery" edit, "Thick as a Brick" edit, and "A Passion Play" edit. Why bother even putting them on this? Other tracks could have fit just as well. Something else from MINSTREL IN THE GALLERY? Something else from TOO OLD TO ROCK AND ROLL? The bonus song "Glory Row" is good but nothing really special. I usually hate "Best Of" compliations and this is not really an exception to the rule. Good only for new Tull fans who want a sampler. Long-time Tull fans already have these albums, I would guess. 2 stars
