A superb album, specially the title song "le porte del silenzio", an eight-part suite about 27 minutes long, sung in italian. I would say that this album is a very well balanced mix of the 70�s italian prog and the 90�s neo-prog, with both very melodic and powerful moments. Highly recommended!
