INDIVISION

I first heard about this album when it was recently featured on Aural Moon. WOW! from the opening instrumental of this release, this band grabs you by the short hairs and coaxes you to want MORE. On all levels, Disconnect is not disconnected at all but very well versed in making music that takes the listener on a stroll through emotions. I can feel anger, lust, sorrow, twisted perversions and curiosities and love. Not only does the music portray emotions, but the lyrics add depth and dimension to it all. I can hear obvious influences of Disconnect: King Crimson, Transatlantic, Porcupine Tree, Rush, Kevin Gilbert, Genesis -- and what is not to desire from these troubadours? I am definitely going to check out the previous releases from this band.
