MAXOPHONE (ENGLISH LYRICS)

An excellent album, no doubt about it. This is great symphonic progressive rock from Italy. Quite complex with lots of breaks and rhythm changes, the album sports a wide variety of instrumentation which outside the usual stuff also includes horns, saxophone, clarinet, cello, violin, harp etc. Brilliantly played and versatile with influences from classical music and jazz. Echoes of PFM, King Crimson and at times Locanda Delle Fate; and also Gabriel-era Genesis, especially in the vocals.
