4 stars "Collage" in my point of view is the first album of LE ORME, where the band begins to define his sonority as Progressive Rock, although in this disk they can still be heard the "echoes" of the psych-rock much most characteristic of the 60', the sound appears well worked ( in the instrumental arrangements, as in the letters) than in the previous album "Ad Glory." Better for the progressive fans , because, although I don't consider this disk a masterpiece, I "thicken" the line of the ones that classify it like "Excellent addition to any prog rock music collection" and it would put "Collage" above other disks of the same band (just like I did in relation to the album "Contrapunti" albun to which I gave 5 stars) that receive a larger quotation in Progarchives, as it is the case of "Felona and Sorona." Maybe the reason is that "Felona and Sorona." receives almost the triple of quotations , or... really my taste is different from most. My prominences are the tracks 1 "Collage" with a harpiscord passage , that reminded me the Locatelli themes and other masters of the Baroque Italian music and track 4 "Sguardo verse il cielo" (for the instrumental and for the beautiful letter). My rate is 4 stars!!!
