4 stars Yeah i know, This IS NOT a prog record. Why is here? it is obvious. Radiohead have concept albums like Ok Computer, Kid A or Amnesiac. The others make their way here too. I donīt rate this album as if it is more or less progressive, i give it the stars i think by they deserve by the music, So it is not true it is a great adittion to any prog collection! but it is a Great album. I will rate it song by song

Planet Telex: A Good Start. Disturbing drums and catchty melodies. It isnīt a masterpiece but it rules (8/10)

The Bends: An excellent song with a great voice overloaded by guitars. Great song anyway (8,5/10)

High and Dry: Catchy balllad, What a excellent instrumentation! This looks good (9/10)

Fake Plastic Trees: Mmm I donīt agree choosing 2 ballads one beside the other. Anyway this is not a concept album , is it?. This is an anthem itself but maybe less original (8/10)

Bones: Catchy, it reminds me The Bends. (8,5/10)

(Nice Dream): Good production, good arrangements and after all a GREAT instrumental path, if the end was in the same mood it would become a bit boring. (8/10)

Just: Wow This seems grunge, no! itīs brit pop! What is it?. Brilliant guitar Work!. For me it is the best song (10/10)

My iron Lung:We listened before as an Ep. It is a sweet/rocker song that makes you feel again how good are Radiohead guitar players (9/10)

Bullet Proof...: Not a bad song, another ballad ( too many for me) (8/10)

Black Star: Blame on the falling sky......, this song makes me drop tears, itīs so sweet so charming.... (9,5/10)

Sulk: Good Arrangements , not a bad song but a bit boring (7,5/10)

Street Spirit: The dramatic End, again thom make beautiful falsetos. (9/10)

Well finishing my review i will say that i donīt like the way they put their tracks. As a Prog Album/Concept album this one deserves a 0,5/10,

but as a Alt Rock Album my rating is...

.8,5/10
