3 stars Is very difficult write a review about the first albun from EARTHBOUND PAPAS, I say this because they make a mixture of several styles of prog music, reaching from prog-metal or heavy-prog in "vein" of their countryman from TERU'S SYMPHONY, a certain something of Hard-Prog in the DEEP PURPLE"s style , "hints" of Symphonic-Prog such as in some musical passages which clearly reminds me the music of FOCUS or maybe CAMEL. Although, the disk presents some great moments, as for instance the track 5 "Metal Hypnotized" ( in my opinion the best moment in this albun) and the track 4 "Thread Of Fate" ( a song inspired by CAMEL), also presents very weak moments as in the track 8 "Bo-Kon-Ho-Ko", where in spite of the excellent instrumentation, the choir vocals mixed to a narration are of strange and doubtful taste and the track 9 "Homecomming" with another strange vocals,. For this reasons, I think which the best are almost cancelled by the worst, and my rate is 3 stars !!!
