![]() I first heard these guys on KSHE-95 (St.Louis) back in the late 70's. The 11 minute "Long Way Home" got a lot of airplay and probably the reason I (as recently transplanted teen from Atlanta) wanted the album so badly. Unfortunately, for reasons I can't recall now, this album was very rare to find. A good example might sell for $50 or so around town. FInally several years later I found a good copy in and L.A. used record shop for like $10. yahoo!!! Let me say it was NOT a let down after all those years of waiting, finally being able to listen to the whole thing through. Perhaps, my rating is tainted by the fond memories of "the chase" to get this album (now easily available on CD of course), or of all the hours spent listening to this puppy. I may do a more formal review of each track if there is any interest (as I read the track names now, I find myself singing the tune in my head ...) I especially remember enjoying "Here In My Loneliness" and all of side 4. A very nice album for anyone's collection - lets give it a 4 while I pull it out of my collection and give it a whirl!
