PRESTO

An underrated and overlooked album by Rush which hooked me on one of my first listens. This album deserves much more attention than it receives but it is not a complete progressive rock masterpiece, hence my rating of 4 stars. There are some stand-outs, like "The Pass", "Superconductor", and "Scars", while also having some underrated: "Presto", "Red Tide", and "Anagram". Overall, this album is full of very splendid Rush compositions and a few above average songs; it doesn't meet the masterpiece status of "Hemispheres" or "Moving Pictures". If you are interested in Rush and especially like their Power Windows/Roll the Bones-esque material, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this.
