ABSOLUTION

. . .so I'm driving in the car last week and listening to WLIX, which is a new alternative rock station on Long Island in NY. I hear this track and it sounds somewhat familiar but I don't know what it is. They never annouced the songs on air at this station; since a Clash tune followed I figured I could go on line and see if they have a play list; this proved to be to no avail. I thought, "gee, what good is it playing new music if you don't tell people who it is." A week later I am sifting through the new reviews and there is Chriz' review of Absolution. I have this album, it was a gift and it has been siting in my CD collection for over a year. I figure I would give it another listen and I hear "Time is Running Out." This is the track I had heard on the radio, what a coincidence. I listened again and really like this album. I never listened to EMO, but I like a lot of the recordings from people who have been influenced by it and I would say that Muse has been. I love the fludity and passion of the songs.
