4 stars At first, Magenta seems to be a "popish prog", specially if you start by "Seven", which really made me think I was listening to a progressive Corrs... But after a while, I got to realise what this band was all about and only later could I listen to "Revolutions". In fact, they are both awesome albums! Revolutions fills my need of great epics, as they're becoming more and more rare.

The neo-prog sound of the band is quite balanced: never too heavy nor boring - they're just perfect. All of the epics of this album are worth hearing several times - my favourites are "Man the machine" and "Genetesis". All compositions here are VERY rich: interesting lyrics, excelent exploration of guitar effects and keyboards.

I give this band a bright prog future!
