For those who are being introduced to the jazz/rock fusion genre (like me), I highly recommend getting your hands on a copy of this album. A masterpiece; the fusion of electric bass playing and angular melodies is intoxicating. I particularly enjoyed the outside electric guitar solo in Birds of Fire.
