4 stars Gallows Gallery marks Sigh's return to music since their 2001 masterpiece Imaginary Sonicscape. Upon hearing the album's first track, anyone familiar with Sigh's previous works will notice a dramatic change of vocal styles delivered by vocalist Mirai. The harsh raspy vocals are replaced with a sort of "choir" of clean vocals, which are recorded at different octaves (Such as "The Tranquilizer Song"). For many this is an unwelcome change, but those who listen to the material with an open mind will be very rewarded, as this is definitely some of Sigh's best work yet, and definitely one of their most easily approachable albums.
