GILBERT ARTMAN'S LARD FREE

Actually I like Gilbert Artman's later stuff - community of plenty of saxophonists a. o. called Urban Sax - better. But on this record there are six quite different psychedelic trips - sometimes close to krautrock, sometimes close to free-jazz and acid-jazz, sometimes close to space rock and sometimes - really "good ol' electronics". If we talk about instruments used on this record, we can hear stunning bass, expressive guitar, delicious saxophone, "furry" synths, piano, drums and - aweinspiring vibraphone in my favourite trip called Livarot Respiration. Fine trip to take on - almost four stars!
