5 stars A Rush of Adrenaline DVD, I was amazed by this dvd, not usually a lover of music videos, when I put this on for the first tiime I found myself mesmerised, it captured me in a way that does not usually happen with music dvd's. The production quality is absoloutely superb, it's sharp and interesting, and never leaves you feeling "yeah yeah, next please!" which you do tend to get from live videos. I found it interesting to see the performance of Nick Barrett & Clive Nolan without the plugged in big sounds of the bands that they are usually play with. Far from feeling that something was lacking due to the absence of the band, this video shows that something extra, something magical was present. The first live perfromance of Two Roads (from Pendragon's 2005 album BELIEVE) was a treat, especially for those of us counting down the days until the Pendragon tour this spring! The live performance, shot in Poland as a support act to Gordon Haskill (K.C.) covers material from Pendragon, Arena, and from the various side projects of Clive Nolan, and spans 21 years of recorded material! For fans of barrett / Nolan work, and for folk who havn't met with them yet, this is a great DVD, and for those of you who maybe unsure, there are 2 free downloadable video tracks on the Pendragon website.......... go check it out for yourselves! www.pendragon.mu
