4 stars The liner notes do not specify when were these performances recorded. The line-up: Haslam, Dunford, Tout, Camp, Sullivan and the track selection would suggest late 70's. In the first studio album of the 80's (Camera Camera) the line-up had changed. The overall sound quality is excellent although there are some problems in the balance of the instruments. This is not too disturbing, some may even find it better that the bass is strong and in front. Camps bass playing is enjoyable. Especially in Prologue he is high! Annie is great! She is, as the whole band actually, in the very peak of their performance.

This is a must for all Renaissance fans. In my scale a live recording seldom reaches a masterpiece status. The actual works might have been masterpieces in the studio recordings but the best live performances can be just great. This is. This is an excellent addition to any prog collection: 4 stars.
