1 stars No guitar pyrotechnics on this one. Arguably the worst musical project from Dutch guitar Maestro Jan Akkerman. Even the cover hints at what the listener is in for. After the brilliant " Aranjuez " recorded with Claus Ogerman one has to wonder where his head was on this one. A very poor attempt at some funky compositions including one with really bad and uninspired female vocals. In fact, I would define the whole mess as uninspired elevator music. Recorded partially in the United States and partially in Europe one wonders why Atlantic records would allow Akkerman to almost commit creative suicide with such seemingly huge production costs. Shortly afterwards atlantic cancelled his contract due to poor sales. Progressive rock fans should stay away from this dud.
