4 stars Well, well, I add here my five cents to this... I look over some of the reviews and a few of them is not too fair to this record.

I heard it right after it went out at those times in '80s. In fact it was the first LP I have from JT at home (no, I heard a few of their records before, but only from cassette tape). I've got this LP untill now. And the memories to the first listening to it aren't bad at all.

In fact I like this record a lot. Yes, the sound of it is very different from the JT standards, but in those time I didn't take a care and today it's the same... Fine Beastie on the start and then great Clasp are satisfactory enough, but then on the end of the first side lovely piece of music - Slow marchin band - if there wouldn't be nothing more it's enough for me. On the other side dark Broadsword and another great track Pussy Willow, funny Watching You Watching me, Seal driver with reminiscent to older JT and last but not least the sweet Cheerio.

No, this record isn't bad. It's as good as the times allowed and today it's maybe better then before. So, no problem for me to give to this release 4*.
