SCRIPT FOR A JESTER'S TEAR

In the doldrums of music in the 1980's life was dark and bleak, or maybe techno and poppy. Then in 1983 came this release, SCRIPT FOR A JESTERS TEAR from Genesis-clone Marillion. Great album. Very atmospheric. I saw them in concert in 1984 when they came to the States and enjoyed every second of it. They were with Utopia. I have the regular cd release without the bonus tracks. Fish and the band started what is now called Neo-Prog and thank you for that, boys! Not much else to say except it is not perfect, but darn close. 4 and a half stars.
