4 stars This first album of Devil Doll is one of the keys to understand the subsequent discography of this band leaded by the mysteriuos Mr. Doctor.

Wandering through different styles such as gothic, metal, prog, classical amongst others, "The Girl..." is a very interesting piece to hear alone in the dark. The music is really great. With chaotic mixtures of heavy guitars sad keyboards, tortured violins and the gloomy, intense and epical voice of Mr. Doctor leading all the concept of this album through their different parts, some of them really ironic and others really scary.

Maybe is not the best album of Devil Doll but as I said "The Girl..." is the first and neccesary step to get into the amazing and even macabre world of Devil Doll...
