A LONG DAY'S NIGHT

Yet another live album by Blue Oyster Cult, which is not a bad idea, as they are a GREAT live band, as I have experienced. While their first live album ON YOUR FEET OR ON YOUR KNEES, I consider to be one of the best live records ever released, this one doesn't quite live up to that level. It is still good and contains all the usual live BOC numbers:"Bucks Boogie", "Burnin For You", "Astronomy", "GOdzilla", etc... and has a good version of a later BOC number, "Harvest Moon" which I really enjoy.It also has a few other rarities like "Lips in the Hills", and "Quicklime Girl". ANd "Astronomy" is over 10 minutes, here. So, an excellent release.
