5 stars This album is absolutely genial. It blends crazy, psychedelic, jazzy, noisy moments with oceans of calmth and relaxment. To me, this is the most enjoyable, intrigating and interesting Canterbury album so far.

"Share It" is the opener and sounds fairly boring and uninspired until you get to the keyboard solo which doesn't sound bad at all. However, the song that REALLY sounds great is 'Lounging There Trying". 'tis a terrific song. It sounds very jazzy, relaxed, loungy and it's got a lot of feeling in it - simply a great track. The only downpoint is that it's too short.

Following "Lounging There Trying" are (Big) John Wayne Socks Psychology On The Jaw and Chaos At The Greasy Spoon. They are brief interludes that lead to the noisy, slightly crazy "Yes No Interlude" which is a completely instrumental, fast-paced song that kicks some ass.

But after this interlude comes one of the greatest tracks on the album: Fitter Stoke Has A Both. The lyrics are entertaining and the vocal lines and Sinclair's voice are simply great, especially to the mellow background. This goes on for a far too short while, after which we get some great vocal 'di-du-du' stuff. The last one-two minutes are noises a la Moonchild but they lead the song to 'Didn't Matter Anyway' very subtle. After the sweet, yet a bit simple "Didn't Matter Anyway" you'll be lead to 'Underdub" which is another of those jazz- like songs that just sound great.

And last, as I'm not going to bother with the 'bonus' tracks, is Mumps. This is a GREAT epic, with amazing riffs, beatiful harmonies and melodies. The sung part is a bit of a drop in quality but it picks up soon enough after that.

Great album, one of the best I have so far.
