4 stars Spock's own Close to the Edge. This album deserves the "masterpiece" tag. From the first orchestral part of the album to the last, amazing. The only song I don't actually enjoy so much, even though it's still good, is Revelation, I find it rather repetitive. The rest of the songs are very good especially At the end of the day. This 17 minute epic is delightful, going through the melodies that characterize Spock. The musicians are top notch, Neal soares, the keyboards are amazing, the guitar, EVERYTHING! I listen to this 3 times a week even though I've had it for about 2 years now, I really enjoy it.

It's the melodies that make V great, also, even though I might be offending someone by writting this...it has some pop-like melodies that just stick to you all day long. That's not bad, some of us are looking for melodies, some are looking for feeling, if you're looking for amazing melodies don't look further than this! Best Spock's album by far!
