This album was the first I ever heard by TD. Way back on it's release in 1984. From the opening of the first side I was immediately struck by the electrifying atmosphere created by the pounding electronic percussion and the powerful synth chords. The first side is in my opinion a masterclass of electronic music and at the time of recording was way ahead of it's time .

My favourite part of the whole album is on side 3 when the single release Warsaw in the Sun kicks in on the track Barbakane. This peice has a wonderful melody and beautiful rhythm. Poland is an album I can always return to and never fail to be amazed by the dynamic live performance b TD.

Probably their best live album and one well worth checking out if you like synth music in any form.
