4 stars "I Robot, the story of the rise of the machines and the decline of man"

This is the second studio album by Woolfson and Parsons right after Tales Of Mystery and Imagination. This one is also a concept album that deals with the struggle of mankind to overcome the rule of the machines. Parsons is again the producer and engineer in I Robot, accomplishing a clear and neat sound in all the tracks. There are a lot of great tracks in this album: "I Robot", "I wouldn't want to be like you", "Don't let it show" and "Nucleus". The other tracks are also very well written, but fail to reach the greatness of the songs in Tales. I Robot might take a while to grow on you but when you listen to it enough times, it can be very enjoyable.

Not really a masterpiece like Tales, but definetively an excellent addition to your prog collection.
