Well, my nick cannot help me here... If I call myself around the world as Grobsch, I even have my own webpage using this nickname, how can I not give five starts for this album??

First of all I must say I'm negative impressed by such small rating of this album because the first Grobschnitt record is something between EXCELLENT to MASTERPIECE.

Grobschnitt, also called sometimes Symphony because of its first song, is GREAT. You will find the best of the progressive rock, space rock, heavy moments, splendid guitars and drums, fun, histeric sounds and a amazing band, allthough the magnific Mist is not present.

As we have already great reviews written, I'll only add a personal comment about the MASTERPIECE which opens the album, 'Symphony', also called 'Die Sinfonie', a fantastic suite that starts with a drums ballet and is one of the best Grobschnitt songs ever. Pay attention when you try find this album, you MUST acquire the remaster edition with the fantastic live version of Symphony where you will find some great solos.
