4 stars After such an eponymous debut as the album prior to this one, it's hard to believe that APP followed it up with something as strong, if not stronger, but in a different style.

The songs on this one are more accessible; some have had some radio time. Regardless of the accessibility, this album is very enjoyable throughout. Every cut sounds somewhat different, so the stylistic behavior of the music varies, leaving a little bit of everything for everyone. "I, Robot" is very groovy and heavily synth textured, "Day After Day" has that melancholic ballad feel to it (sort of like The One In Paradise on Tales), Nucleus has an ambient crescendo feeling to it, etc. Some songs may grow tiring after multiple hearings, while a couple may be rather annoying overall, but the album as a whole has a very completele and even feel to it.

Definitely worthy for any prog-lover's collection.
