An excellent album by anyone's standards. More than essential for any Floyd fan, an awakening experience for anyone who truly cares about what music is supposed to sound like. "Mudmen", "Childhood's End", "the gold it's in the...", "wot's...uh the deal", "burning bridges", "free four", and "stay" are just unbelievably great songs. I have them all, but Obscured By Clouds holds more good memories for me and has to top the list as the Floyd's best despite the fact of how quickly it was made. I got all of my friends into this one, and none of them are hard core Floyd fans.
