5 stars I have waited for over 10 years for this.

I've been a huge fan of instrumental space rock for as far as I can remember. Everything that is similar to the Ozric Tentacles or has anything to do with The Ozrics.

I stumbled upon Mantric Muse via Oresund Space Collective. The members of OSC were members of Mantric Muse, Blandbladen, Gas Giant etc.

Mantric Muse always sounded similar to Ozrics, because of their approach. Spacey synths as a basis and keyboard and guitarsolos on top of that. A steady grooving rhythm-section and an all-instrumental approach.

The new album reminds me also of Taipuva Luotisuora, Quantum Fantay and Hidria Spacefolk.

I really hope the band sticks together and releases another album in the future because, although OSC is awesome, Mantric Muse sounds tighter and the songs are more memorable.
