4 stars Just about the most successful of the Earth Band's 70s albums. Previous guitarist Mick Rogers left and was replaced by two people, Chris Thompson on vocals/guitar and Dave Flett on guitar. This proved to be the catalyst for renewed creativity and there are some tremendous songs.

Blinded by the Light (another Bruce Springsteen cover version) was a Top ten hit. The album version is longer and contains a brilliant guitar solo by Flett. Other highlights are Waiter There's a Yawn in My Ear where Mann shows his ability on the Mini-Moog, and Road to Babylon which has a superb instrumental mid-section. This mini epic has great ensemble playing and another outstanding guitar solo by Flett.

There are no weak tracks and is a well deserved 4.5 stars.
