THE FINAL CUT

This album is so depressing by even Floyd standards, that many Floyd fans cannot bear to listen to it. Sound wise, it is very well executed and produced, but sounds too much like The Wall - almost as if it was made up from leftover material - just much darker and more apocalyptic. If you found The Wall boring to tears, like I have, you will not like this. If you a prog-head who likes Symphonic prog or Canterbury, you a guaranteed to hate this. On the other hand, if you like The Wall, you might enjoy this album, but stock up on anti- depressants!
