3 stars "Paramita Tapes" is a nice release from psych band "Verma". The album contains 3 jams, each with a duration of around 9 minutes. The sound quality of this release is raw and patchy, yet it is rather warm sounding and I find if very pleasing to the ears.

The album begins with "Space is Open", which begins with some very nice synths, and then shifts into a crunchy psych jam. There are some pleasing harmonies here. Next is "Deathsport", another psych jam that is steadier and more pleasing to the ears. This one is my personal favourite track on the album. The last track is "Not Even Time". This jam is another slow one, and it is embellished with some distorted viola.

"Paramita Tapes" is a good release, but it is far from mind-blowing. If you are in need of some music to create a nice, trippy atmosphere, than I suggest this release.
