3 stars This album contains a couple of my favourite Fish songs, Shadowplay, Credo and Tongues are among Fish's best. The ballads on this album keep really quiet and relaxed, which is enjoyable if you like his voice. The only misser in this album is the coversong Something In The Air which ends the album, not a bad song, but it doesn't seem to fit really, but understanding his political involvement at the time I understand why he wanted a revolutionary song to end with.

A lot of Celtic/Scottish influences can be heard throughout the album, apparently Fish was looking for his Scottish heritage, a process that began with Marillion, but taken shape in his first two solo efforts.

An album I only listen to once a year or so, but listening to it today and again it takes me away and remind me why I was a fanboy of Fish all those years. Maybe not his best album, but certainly one that aged well, and it sounds as fresh as it did many years ago.

Mainly for fans but a great album IMO. bordering on 4 stars, but I'll keep it at three.
