4 stars Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind is another one of my all time favorite albums. I wasn't expecting much from this album, but when I got it I wasn't in the LEAST bit disapointed. The album is full of talent and is surely one of Iron Maidens best works yet! It's an incredible album where pretty much EVERY song is incredible! I love Iron Maiden, and this is a highly recommended album from this great band. It includes the classic song The Trooper, and others like Die With Your boots On, Flight of Icarus, Revelations, Where Eagles Dare, Quest for Fire, Still Life, and To Tame a Land. If you ask me, you might as well just call it a good ol' masterpiece, from a band who is full of masterpieces. People tend to say that they shouldn't be on this sight because they're techniquelly not really prog. In some ways that's true, but to just place this out in the open thier recent works, Piece of Mind, Powerslave, and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son are really all good examples of their instrumental qualities. Give it a listen and determine for yourself if it's prog-related or not. 4/5, great among all other albums, Iron Maiden has always been a group I've fallen in love with aside Dream Theater and Rush! These three bands started me in this great genre!
