3 stars Well If I am anything to go on this must have pushed sales of NME up a great deal. I bought five copies and am very glad I did.For many years this was the only place you could get the Brain salad surgery track at all. Apparently Brain Salad Surgery was the bands name for Oral Sex...very strange. the edited version of the record is very well done and certainly got the fans ready for what is still ELP's most consistently awesome record. Sadly ELP never again came so close to perfection but this flexi disc is worth having inside your copy of the LP in any case. The Re-released CD now includes all of this free release and the Flexi disc itself is a sought after rarity. I now only own two copies, one of those is stuck to a "mud" single (which I pinched off my sister) to give it some stability having parted with the others for good money. I somehow suspect that I may come to regret that decision in years to come. One for the fans and essential to that die hard breed who simply must own the full set. Great fun.
