Freak
3 stars This is a great performance by the band from '98. From the haunting performance of "Seasons End" to the rocking "King," this live album delivers with an amazing playlist and an energetic performance by the guys. A 22-minute "This Strange Engine" steals the show, with an extended bass-solo by Pete to kick off the epic. With even the performances of Fish-era staples like "Garden Party" and "Slainte Mhath" going over surprisingly well, there aren't many weak moments on the album.

To put it simply, if you are a fan of Marillion, give the album a shot. The only problem is that the sound quality isn't very clear. The live album "Anorak In The UK" is a far better representation of what the band is capable of (with a crisp sound quality that rivals and surpasses many recorded albums), but the playlist isn't as accessible.
