2 stars Led Zeppelin II was, in my oppinon, a slight step down from their debut. 'Whole Lotta Love' opens it on a high note. Quite catchy and easy to get into, but isn't overly amazing, as it is simple, repetative and the drug-induced psychedellic sequence is just like that of Dazed and Confused from Led Zeppelin I. Many of the other tracks are the same - simple, repedative but catchy. The best of these being "What is and What shouldn't Be" and "Living Loving Maid". "Moby Dick" has great drums, but, surprisingly (as a drummer) I prefer the intro and outro. The solo is quite overrated if you ask me, even though I detest that word.

Not quite as good as other releases, but fun nonetheless.
