2 stars So, this is Behold...the Arctopus' first release. The production is of medium quality, as are the compositions and performances. If you've seen the guitarist and Warr guitarist's video playing "Alcoholocaust" by themselves for Guitar One magazine, you've probably had a good laugh provided by the guitar player, who seemed to be doing the 12-year-old-shredding routine throughout the song, but you should know that the group is actually quite talented. The songs here are pretty good, but the band can and has done much better. I would rate this EP at about 2.5 stars, but since you can get these two tracks on the re-release of the superior Nano-Nulceonic Cymborg Summoning EP, I'll go to 2 stars for this one. Yes, each of the last three sentences included a ", but" and I know that's poor writing, but shoot, I can't work too hard on all of these! That's four...
