Another fantastic album by Metheny. Once again, captivating jazz at its best will take you away. When you listen to this stuff, you're not on Earth. Musicianship is amazing, and applause between solos (which normally would annoy anyone) works well here, and doesn't at all ruin the experience. The set list is interesting and relatively diverse, and many of the songs really grow and morph beautifully. There are some really great and fresh versions of classic Metheny songs, complete with the amazing musicianship of Metheny's band. Hearing the crowd sing the melody of Third Wind long after the band is done is something special.
