4 stars 20th years... Long era. Nevertheless foe E'G Records is a moment of reflection. Because it is true... The E'G catalogue is one of the best catalogue. From King Crimson to Penguin Cafe Orchestra passing to ELP, T. Rex, Roxy Music and Bryan ferry, Brian Eno, 801, Fripp and Killing Joke represent one of the best all time catalogue. This CD confirm this fact. I love all single song of this CD. That is one of the best sampler CD of all time. Not proper Prog but for fine Progster. As do it believe to be. Obviously Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry's songs are my favourite song. But also "Get It On" (T.Rex), "Miss Shapiro" (801), "In The Dead Of Night" (U.K.), "In The Court Of Crimson King" (King Crimson) and "Killing Joke's "love Like Blood" are between my favorite songs. Ah... One moment... "Perpetuum Mobile" by Penguin Cafe Orchestra is good. In conclusion "the 20th Anniversary Album" is a classic from E'G catalogue. And a classic for all fine Progster.

4 stars Hard to review a sampler of this level. If, in fact, it is a tribute to 20 years of EG Records and the music is excellent in quality, I must admit, too, which is a compilation of music that might seem like a single band with evolution is not well defined. Let me explain better: you start with King Crimson and Roxy Music goes through. Having including various side projects and solo work from elements of these bands, the end result is to always listen to a variant of the music of two bands, which then, as a natural evolution of the Rock in general, become very similar. Really different: T. Rex, Penguin Cafe Orchestra and Killing Joke. However it must be admitted that, to be honest really, this is an excellent compilation. Representative of a management that has become a record label with great bands and artists in catalogue.
