4 stars Maybe is not essential, but a very good aproach to Moody Blues music, if you don't know Moody's buy it you will be not dissapointed. This was my first Moody's disc, in my country it's difficult to obtain one, before this i buy The Other Side of Life, Sur La Mer and Days of Future Passed, because some of my favorite tunes are in this discs, in a few words, it resumes some of the best of 24 years of career.... Some of pop, some of astral travels, and of course a lot of great music.....

4 stars New to the Moody Blues or just want one disc with a good dose of their biggest hits? Then this is the place to go. The Moodies, especially the latter day version, are not a very proggie outfit, so don't expect to get your prog fix here. Both the pre and post Mike Pinder (keyboardist and mellotron master) MB's are represented on this collection and Justin Haywards vocals are always a pleasure to hear. There are a couple of John Lodge's songs featured and he tends to give the group a little bit of a kick. This is an excellent pop/rock disc of one of the pillars of Rock and Roll.

4 stars.
