2 stars Four songs from their weakest album. Only Eight Days A Week is a decent song here.

When that is said, Beatles For Sale is probably the album which has impressed me most from their recent re-masters. The sound, that is. The music is still pretty dire.

Where am I again....... ? Oh, I am trying to express my views about this EP. There are three pretty dire songs here in the form of No Reply, I'm A Loser and the vastly overrated Rock 'n' Roll Music. The latter one is The Beatles attempt of doing a rock'n'roll anthem. I have never liked that song. The Beatles was never a good rock'n'roll band, whatever John Lennon may think about that up in heaven. The Beatles was the best ever pop band and the grandfathers of prog rock. Their attempts of rock'n'roll seemed awkward and out of place. Period.

This is a half-decent EP and best avoided. Buy an airline instead.
