3 stars The debut album of Canadian quartet Epigram is competent post-rock work. Instrumental melodic and acoustic compositions are not too short and not too long. Songs all have some sad atmosphere and cool breeze included, with calculated heavier guitar interplays.

Album is quite strong for the debut work and sounds on the level of some their more known US colleagues. So, if you're in post-rock, possibly you will like this album as well. The problem however is the same as with many other post-rock bands: the band hardly have personal style, and listening of many similar instrumental compositions at once could be sometimes boring.
