This EP from a pretty average black metal band is hardly worth spending any time on. But it is unreviewed and I am grasping the nettle with both my hands.

The music on Apokalypse is pretty unimaginative black metal. The drums is pretty unorganic, the vocals the usual guttural growls. The bass and the guitars melts into each other. The sound quality is pretty abysmal. There are some quality here, but it is hard to find. This is how underground black metal sounded in the 1990s before Emperor, Dimmu Borgir and Satyricon took black metal to a new level. This EP is best ignored though. A couple of brownie points to a pretty decent melody lines here. But the overall impression is one star.
