4 stars SAME AS PLUTO ISN´T A PLANET YET, THE BAND PLUTO IS DISBANDED, UNFORTUNATELY...

This is only one album from Pavel Fajt & Pluto which I own. In my opinion, it´s little better then the first enterprise of this project. "Tri" (Tři in Czech transcription) means "three" or, in this case, imperative of the verb "rub".

There is a evident lead music influence of PF here, which is expressed mostly in rhythmical structure of songs. As Fajt approximates with his colourful playing to melodic instruments, as rhythm bassguitar and electric guitar approximates to drums. Vocals of Vladimír Bartos are very authentic, deep-felt, perfect corresponding with the music.

Writing about Pavel Fajt´s musical virtuosity or invention would be unnecessarily waste of time. He is concededly one of the best drummers in Europe, maybe in whole World.

The first five songs are excellent, glowing, flavourous, the rest is little boring for me, except tracks 11&12. Especially the last song "Brazílie" (Brazil) has a very mysterious mood including sounds of rain forest.

1. Vítr V Mracích (A Wind in Clouds) 5*, 2. Mezi Stvoly Pýru (Between Trunks of Couch-Grass) 5*, 3. Masopust (Carnival) 5*, 4. Zázrak (Miracle) 5*, 5. Země Pokladů (The Land Of Treasures) 5*, 6. U Ohně (By the Fire) 3*, 7. V Závrati Touhy (In Vertigo of Urge) 2*, 8. Klec (The Cage) 2*, 9. Sekám Kosou (I´m Cutting With My Scythe) 3*, 10. Psí Dech (Dog´s Breath) 2*, 11. Dobří Lidé Na Jezeře (Good People On The Lake) 4*, 12. Brazílie (Brazil) 5*

Summary: 3,83 stars, rounded to 4.
