2 stars Leaving This Dusty Planet To Vaporize Into The Dying Sun is more of the same unsatisfying Phrozenlight material that I've become accustomed to. Though running at a much more manageable 51 minutes, about 20 minutes shorter than usual, this album is still washing machine-esque drone music with a jet engine not far in the distance. But, beyond the empty droning void are some metallic reflections and cosmic resonances ("Vaporise on the Surface") that give this album a slightly more interesting sound than the uninteresting releases before it.

Another problem still exists, though. For tracks over 25 minutes long, I'd expect some form of progression throughout the tracks. Some extra passages thrown into either of the two tracks would make this album much better and far more tolerable.
