3 stars Second compilation volume for bands produced by the French label Musea with only two French artists in the list. Highlights for me are Quidam, Morte Macabre and Sebastian Hardie. Please look up the reviews for these specific bands. All in all, this sampler is very convenient if you want to discover new artists at a ridiculous price.

3 stars Another nice voyage!

Musea records is probably one of the most important progressive rock labels nowadays and i bet the majority of you are familiar with at least 3 or 5 bands that have ever released a record under Musea.

So the label has also released some kind of compillations or samplers featuring of course bands from the same label, those compillations are entitled with the name of Un Voyage en Progressif and so far i think there are 7 or 8 volumes i am not sure. What i am sure is that these samplers may not just help the label itself, but it may help the bands involved, with this albums where there is one song per artist, we can get to know some new bands and if we find the songs interesting, then we can later buy a full lenght album of the band that caught our attention.

This is the second volume of this series of albums, i previously reviewed volume 3 which i found quite interesting because it had some bands i already knew, and some that were totally unknown to me, with this album the same happens and that is what i like about it.

Here i listened to bands like Morte Macabre, kenso, Finisterre or Gerard, bands whose music i previously was aware of, and bands whose music i like actually. And also, i listened to bands like Men of Lake, Zello or Fonya, bands whose music was unknown (or little known) to me, and whose songs i enjoyed in this compillation.

If i had to mention my favourite tracks, the Morte Macabre one takes the first place, no contest, but the Fonya, FInisterre, Gerard and Sebastian Hardie ones, also made me have a good time.

Nice way to discover new bands, and the label itself. 3 stars is a fair grade.

Enjoy it !
