2 stars I know the 1990 performance of "The Wall" was done for charity, but I still find something cynical about the way Roger Waters pulls out the piece every few years for a big tour. I suppose he's still paying for all of those massive props.

This EP, sent out to record stores and radio stations in 1990, was to publicize the performance of "The Wall" near the site of the recently torn down Berlin Wall (I wonder if Roger had anything to do with that?).

The album begins with a newly recorded version of Another Brick In The Wall - part 2, by Waters with his group, The Bleeding heart Band. It's okay, but not very different from the original. After that, there is Hey You from the original LP, When The Tigers Broke Free from the film version of "The Wall", The Gunners Dream from "The Final Cut, 5:06 AM fro "The Pros & Cons Of Hitchhiking and The Tide Is Turning from "Radio Kaos".

What that song list should tell you is that this is a collectors item, and not a particularly great listening album.
